They Came for Ward
"Embattled Professor Ward Churchill speaks on the controversy over his essay, his treatment by the media and the people calling for his firing, and even execution, for 'treason'. In this hour-long program, Prof. Churchill invites FSTV into his home to tell the side of the story told nowhere else on American television: his side."
101 minutes of his side of the story; video here.

Banksy Strikes NY Museums
Banksy installed his own work at The Museum of Modern Art, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Brooklyn Museum of Art & The Museum of Natural History.

I am in awe. That's brilliant.

Here are the images I reposted from Wooster Collective

Ward Churchill still has a job
Well it look like, at least for now, Ward Churchill still has a job
it appears increasingly likely that the incendiary professor will be on campus for the foreseeable future link to Denver Post
We shall see if academic free speech is being erroded or not. For the time being CU is seeming fair, as well a university should be!
"If it goes all the way to a tenure-review committee, the regents - the politicians - will be taken out of the loop," Lane said. "It will be reviewed by professors, who are more inclined not to be swayed by politics, who believe in academic freedom, tenure and the First Amendment."

hard drive soil included?
With Cherry OS Apparently you can run your 1.6ghz PC as a 333mhz apple, here.

Yee haw! It includes such robust features as "Growable Hard Drive" (huh?), "Network Access" (wow I can finally use a network) and "CD/DVD Drive Access."

Now onto the requirements: it requires WinXP home or pro. Optional requirement: Healthy sense of irony.

Geez thats silly. Just buy an old mac (for the cost of your 1.6mhz PC + winXP + Cherry OS you could have a mini mac or used g4 with OSX installed. lol).

*UPDATE: A friend of mine actually just installed this gem of a program and it corrupted his system, he has to reinstall winXP. Specifically it asked to insert the CD for Cherry OS - It touts "CD/DVD Drive Access" yet it doesn't actually have CD support until version 1.02, which is NOT out yet.

kiccoro and morizo
“Kiccoro ( Forest Child )”The Forest Child has only just been born. Jumping around everywhere, he's (she's) full of energy!...

“Morizo ( Forest Grand Father )”The Forest Grandfather has been living in the forest since long ago. He's an easy-going and kind old man, he has seen many things and knows everything, but he hasn't lost his curiosity...
